Brooklyn Parks Commissioner Retired

Back in May, we reported that Brooklyn Parks Commissioner Julius Spiegel was retiring.

Last night was his official retirement party, after 37 years of public service. We dropped by to check out the festivities and to pay our respects. We just want to say, again, "Thank You Commissioner Spiegel for all you have done for Brooklyn's green spaces and enjoy your retirement!"
