This Saturday, December 6 from 11 am – 5 pm, drop by The Old Stone House for the Third Annual Brooklyn Holiday Book Fair, featuring rare, vintage and out-of-print books from independent booksellers all over Brooklyn. Get to know your local booksellers, jump-start your holiday shopping, and be surprised by books you didn’t even know you wanted!
Featuring:
12 PM Cara Schlesinger of Brooklyn’s Faenwyl Bindery will be offering handmade journals and custom boxes, and running a hands-on demonstration of two easy origami book structures.
2 PM Maira Kalman will be on hand to sign her new book, My Favorite Things, a pictorial and narrative exploration of the significance of special objects, and the ideal holiday gift for a collector.
